I really appreciated the simplicity of the Gibraltar’s interior.
It doesn’t try to overdo it with built-in compartments or overcomplicated dividers—instead, it gives you a clean, open layout that lets you pack in a way that works for you.
Removable Dividers
This is one of my favorite features of the Gibraltar—it really takes the functionality up a notch.
Each side of the case has its own divider, and they’re super easy to fasten with a clip. Even better? They’re fully removable thanks to simple snap buttons, which means you can customize the space depending on how you like to pack.
On my trip to Innsbruck, I actually took the dividers out because I didn’t think I’d need them. But when it came time to close the suitcase, I realized they do more than just organize—they help keep the items from falling out when latching the suitcase.

While the single mesh pocket is great for quick-access items, it’s the only built-in storage inside the case. If you like having multiple compartments or zippered pouches, you’ll need to bring your own organizers—or rely on the included packing cubes.

The Limited Lifetime Warranty
Level8 includes a limited lifetime warranty on functional parts—meaning the shell, wheels, handles, and TSA lock mechanisms. If something breaks due to a manufacturing fault, they’ll either repair it or send you a comparable replacement.
Unfortunately, normal wear and tear isn’t covered—including cosmetic damage or airline mishandling. Basically, it’s built for long-term use, just not misuse

Does the LEVEL8 Gibraltar have Any Cons?
This is my honest take on the product—and I fully understand that my list of cons might not be the same as yours.
Overall, this high-quality carry-on has far exceeded my expectations. That said, the price point of $459.99 is definitely steep. If it holds up for the long haul (and I believe it will), then it’s worth every penny. But I’ll admit—it can feel like a big commitment upfront.
If you’re looking for a carry-on with multiple built-in interior compartments, a laptop pocket, or more than one mesh pocket, this one keeps it minimal.
There’s only a single mesh pocket on one of the interior dividers, so you’ll need to bring your organizers or rely on the included packing cubes.
If you prefer bold luggage colors or luggage pieces with a variety of colors, the Gibraltar is available only in Silver and Grey. That said, I’ve actually fallen in love with the Grey—it feels modern, minimal, and surprisingly easy to love.
It’s worth noting that bright colors on an airline’s conveyor belt can make it easier to spot your bag (but I genuinely believe that this product line is still worth it).
Like I mentioned earlier, the scratches don’t bother me too much. I do think it takes a bit of pressure to actually make a mark, but when they do happen, they tend to stand out against the sleek, shiny shell.
And finally, while it’s not heavy for an aluminum case, it’s also not the lightest carry-on out there.
